Business coupe (no back seat huge trunk) this probably the height of the art deco styling in Desoto�s but it has lost some of that since someone has removed the original headlights and replaced them with sealed beam conversion kits. The headlights can be found and should be found to return this front end to its original art deco glory. When is the last time you saw a 1939 Desoto? How about a 39 coupe face it they are rare! Side mount antenna car looks very solid and has all the hard to find trim. The grille has some damage but this can be repaired or replaced. I would guess that the interior was replaced in the 60s with a green nagahide material that should be replaced with the correct mohair? Dash glass will need to be re silk screened has overdrive and heater 55,967 miles on the odometer

    All of my opinions and descriptions of these cars are just that "opinions" I do not guarantee anything for accuracy so take it all with a grain of salt and look at the pictures (and videos soon) when placing bids on these cars at the auction. Do not come back to me crying that the car was not perfect because my description of nice varies from yours! I provide these images and descriptions as a public service only, I do not own nor have I owned Any of these cars I was just a friend of the collector that amassed them and a Desoto collector and fanatic not seeking treatment! Also I am a terrible typer and not an english major so there will be lots of typos. .
